CuSn7Pb15-C-GC(CC496K) bronze, Quite soft leaded tin bronze, which has good sliding and emergency lubrication properties. Resistance to even sulphuric acid is good. Excellent machinability.
Use: For heavy surface pressure sliding bearings with edge pressure. Endures temporary lack of lubrication material for a short time. Suitable for use as bearings of big earth moving machines, as piston-pin bushings in big ship diesel engines and as sliding rings of the piston, in mixers, mill equipment and water pump bearings, rotating drum bearings and in stretching machine bearings without white metal lining.
CuSn12-C (CC483K), EN 1982-2017 锡青铜 Copper-tin alloy
CuSn12-C (CC483K), Hard, strong, tough, resistant to wear, fine-grained. Good machinability and corrosion-resistant to sea water. Good resistance to pounding.
Typical use: Worm wheels, gears, bushings for heavy loads and low speeds.
SAE 660 Bearing Bronze , High Leaded Tin Bronze , 83-7-7-3 ; ASTM B 505 , ASTM B 271. SAE660 is a leaded continuously cast copper based alloy that is suitable for a variety of applications that are under medium loads whilst using adequate lubrication. This alloy offers good sliding and dry running properties and is not subject to dezincification. It is also know as Copper Alloy No. C93200.
C93200 has excellent machining properties, good hardness, strength and wear resistance with excellent antifriction qualities. The alloy is not subject to dezincification and has reasonable corrosion resistance to seawater and brine making it suitable for pump and valve components.
C93200 is suitable for bearings, bushings having medium loads and speeds with adequate lubrications.
